VA | Bright and major key play peaks and transitions into grimy clav funk with heavy "Loose Ends" teasing. |

Mission Ballroom, The |
Denver |
CO | Melodic, funky, energy building that transitions into "Drive." Longest "Sea" to date and another crowd pleaser from a great couple of shows from the Mission. |

ELM, The |
Bozeman |
MT | Starts with bliss mode but shifts gears around 11:00. Rick pushes into staccato motif and Peter hammers the Vintage Vibe as swirling siren synth swells dominate. Evil arrives and the band pounds away at a roaring wave of a peak before closing with bliss. |

Philadelphia |
PA | Typically beautiful "Sea" jam fragments into intense, evil noises, making you grab your blanket for dear life as Peter cackles among looping marimba arpeggiators, Rick effects, and other general madness. Would be right at home as a "Dr. D" intro but resolves instead into a fantastic "Factory Fiction" set closer. |

St. Louis |
MO | Three part incredible jam: ~5 min bliss jam with glory peak > ~6 min epic funky cool down jam that you think is leading to end but instead builds back up to > ~6 min rock/party/dance fest & huge peak. |

PA | This Old Trey sings backups & takes a solo during the song before immersing into another multi-section Taboose 2022 jam. Gorgeous bliss>rocking peaks>diving into the weird unknown in another great example of how locked in they all were this tour. |

Morrison |
CO | First jammed version of "Sea" in 2023 gets bluesy and rocking. Rick toys with a riff similar to Zeppelin's "Moby Dick" as Peter whales on the organ. Guitar takes over as the band hits a feel-good peak and just sustains it for a long time. |

Port Chester |
NY | First version with Jeff on acoustic guitar and it sounds great. Jam coalesces into a cool groove before sliding perfectly -> to "Factory Fiction," probably the most notable thing about this one. |

Ting Pavilion |
Charlottesville |
VA | The first “Sea” with the hypnotic rearranged vocal outro. Rick leads out of that bridge as the band carries the melody beneath, casually jamming toward a beautiful peak that summons more oohs and ahhs before breaking into a classic “Sea” jam. Pete layers synth over effected vintage vibes, enabling the best of what “Seas” can do: It explores space while embracing quieter dynamics, steadily escalating into a full-band-jammed power ballad. This one still had room to run when it dropped into “Interlude II.” |

GLC Live at 20 Monroe |
Grand Rapids |
MI | This first “Sea” of ‘25 jettisons the tender vocal reprise that had come to characterize some of ‘24’s finest voyages. The band steers toward the rolling, tempestuous format of past “Seas,” with Rick sprinkling southern rock-tinged runs over Cotter’s crashing waves. Calmer waters welcome a brief but gorgeous buoyant theme that signals landfall via a patient and perfect segue -> to "Creatures." |
