Well I caught my eye on a western sun
Something moved, leapt up slow
It said, "My child, son do you recall;
Dreaming big, feeling tall?"

Well I lost my height, my timeless wonder
Left them out for the wind to steal
I hid wide eyes behind this fear of falling
I said, "I'm no child, I'm no child at all"

Go everywhere, feel everything, see everyone you want, yourself
Nothing's lost if all you've held.

Wouldn't be so tangled if time moved slow,
I'd rest my shoulders and who knows what we might find.

I saw that light grasp and tremble
On a long dark night on an earthbound soul
Tired and weeping, lost and reaching out
