Wonder Ballroom |
Portland |
OR | Show opens with Echo but comes back to it a 2nd time. 2nd Echo starts with glory rock and then synthy haunting bring down at 10 minutes, similar to 3/4 Pancakes though more extended & then with an incredibly cool & patient march to finish. |

Met, The |
Philadelphia |
PA | Epitome of patient style found in early 2023. Slowly yet relentlessly building, band finds themselves in dark frenzy. Just when you think it has hit its climax, they find another gear & an absolutely devastatingly thrilling peak. Winner of JOTY 2023. |

Salt Shed, The |
Chicago |
IL | Typical "Echo" jam follows a more concise version of its counterpart from Philly, slowly and deliberately building momentum until a boiling and fiery peak is reached. Cools and -> to an incredible "Inside Out." |

Paramount Theatre |
Seattle |
WA | Longest jam to date. Multi-sectional behemoth. Cathartic bliss begins as band shakes off PA issues. "Loose Ends" hints lead into a deep funk "Camino" jam as TREVOR BASS makes the filth even filthier. From there, Rick leads into a segment similar to "SOS" or the "Crosseyed and Painless" intro jam as Peter warms up on Vibe. A final pivot into a long, evil build similar to the Philly "Echo" with some foot-guitar action from Peter explodes back into the song. Fully engaging throughout. |

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park |
Garrettsville |
OH | Extra raunchy clav by Peter kicks off before the switch to piano gives Rick the space to start laying the foundation for what becomes a frantic journey through a sonic maze. The 13 minute mark begins the fast tempo escape from the morass. Soaring guitar work by Rick builds the jam to a couple really nice peaks before reentry. |

WI | -> in from "Myst." Picks up where the groove left off and builds up a powerful head of steam before heading smoothly into "Take On Me," finishing out an excellent trio of songs to begin the second set. |

| Trevor and Peter find a really catchy repeating downward progression theme that the band builds around. Excellent gradual collective cool down that allows band to side into "Borne." |

| Quickly heads for Winter 2022-style dark jamming. Trevor gets DEEP into Spuds' pocket as Rick's angular soloing swirls around Peter's eerie piano. Synths come in as it gets heavier and into some carnival-like zones before the band bails back into the "Echo" ending. |

Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre |
Charlotte |
NC | An initial peak leads into some deeper minor-key marimba/Rick chord jamming. Peter infuses a synth drone and Rick goes for an octave-down soar, sticking to a somewhat blissy mode. Modulates for a slower psychedelic rock zone with incredible drum work atop a repeating progression before mellowing and returning home. |

Greek Theatre |
Los Angeles |
CA | Another example of quality over quantity - quickly dives into a dark and eerie motif with reverb and delay-drenched clav dominating the space alongside Rick's digital sauce. Gets abandoned a bit prematurely for "No California" but is well worth a listen. |
