2022-02-26Hungersite15:49Goose Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville CTAt the time of its debut, nobody had heard "Hungersite" before and it immediately establishes itself as a jam vehicle. Great rocking motif before the segue into the live debut of "Dripfield".
2022-03-12Hungersite19:26Goose Fillmore, The Philadelphia PAUltra-funky molasses jamming. Trevor puts on a clinic concocting murderous bass lines while Rick lets his inner SRV come out to play, absolutely scorching blues soloing.
2022-06-08Hungersite16:54Goose Artpark Lewiston NYBuilds up an impressive head of steam with aggressive Nord work from Peter before cooling and smoothly transitioning -> to "Into the Myst."
2023-03-11Hungersite19:16Goose Capitol Theatre, The Port Chester NYPeter leads the way into a blissy progression in a heated initial jam section. Breaks into dark, sparse funk with nasty, nasty clav and then an ascending and powerful riff. Serious growl and mojo to this ending with Trevor going absolutely wild.
2023-05-03Hungersite23:23Goose Faubourg Brewery New Orleans LAFantastic building jam resulting in absolute shredfest. Gorgeous wind down ending.
2023-06-21Hungersite15:13Goose Riviera Theatre Chicago IL"Welcome to Delta"-ish jam gives way to a Rick led shredfest that eventually melts into an airy exit into "Dripfield."
2023-07-04Hungersite14:47Goose Stone Pony Summer Stage Asbury Park NJForegoing the initial rocking section and peak we’ve seen in many 2023 versions, the band immediately settles for a quieter, gentler jam. Results in Rick finding a pretty riff with around 5 mins to go that everyone hooks onto and builds into a really pretty glory peak.
2023-09-24Hungersite17:38Goose Cascade Equinox Festival Redmond OREschews the usual blistering and fast-paced jam in favour of a laid-back and major-key space. Shorter version that will draw you in for repeated listens.
2023-11-20Hungersite20:59Goose Electric Ballroom London Builds momentum like many '23 versions but begins to stray from normal when Peter hits the clav with some subtle delay. Spuds is an absolute WORKHORSE as he keeps the propulsive tempo up. Rick finds a melody that he likes and Goose shreds to a peak of epic proportions. Final night of tour throw-down.
2024-04-10Hungersite20:19Goose Capitol Theatre, The Port Chester NYGoes absolutely balls-to-the-walls for the first jam, getting to high speeds and intensity while Rick absolutely unleashes on the eager crowd. Back half is a nice and patient dual-guitar space that segues nicely into "Dripfield" to complete the Driptych.
2024-06-07Hungersite20:54Goose Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre Greenwood Village COThe band sits in Type I "Hungersite" territory for most of the jam, giving the impression of a conscious effort to resist full peak mode for as long as possible. By the time they get there, there's some undertones of heavy rock and Cotter leads into a half-time shred mode for the final minute that's absolutely amazing.
2024-06-11Hungersite24:12Goose Midland Theatre, The Kansas City MOPeter keeps the familiar "Hungersite" peak fresh with a repeated descending lick, beefing up his usual comping behind Rick's solo. Barely slows down at all before the disco-delay clav comes in like this version's counterparts from 11/20/23 and Chateau Sessions. Rick throws in some digital sauce as the disco gets more vicious and hits a final peak.
2024-06-28Hungersite20:08Goose Mann Center for the Performing Arts Philadelphia PAThis first jam is the Cotter show. The man is on FIRE through the usual peak and then goes hand-in-hand with Rick into an angular, dark zone for the final few minutes. A motif that is begging to be explored more by Goose.
2024-09-07Hungersite24:49Goose Saratoga Performing Arts Center Saratoga Springs NYEschews the typical Type I "Hungersite" peak and shifts immediately into gorgeous bliss. Rick weaves some incredible earworm melodies to a peak before the band quiets, beginning a LONG and patient build to a final explosion. Excellent use of phaser piano from Peter.
2024-09-21Hungersite14:01Goose Remlinger Farms Carnation WAEcstasy. Infectious optimism. Pure Joy. Rick finds a repeating hook at 7:45 that he builds around before an explosion of guitar Rock Goddery. Every time you think he's found the apex of energy within the peak, he unlocks a new level of earworm shredding. He then slows down, brilliantly going back into the earlier riff before deciding to hose down the crowd one last time. This song DELIVERS as a set closer.
