Holmdel |
NJ | 36-minute debut is quantity over quality, but the band's commitment to exploration atop Cotter's flowing groove is great. |

MT | Peter gets some really cool synth waves out of the Nord Stage toward the end here, but Rick brings things back home before they can get too crazy. |

CA | Adventurous version cycles through a few different chord progressions and ideas, but the real landmark moment here is the prominence of Jeff's Bob Weir-like guitar stabs. Very audible on the SBD and a very welcome addition to the improv. |

AL | Balancing audacity and restraint, this jam showcases Rick’s knack for running wild with freshly unearthed ideas. As the song leaves its post-verse melody, Rick introduces a palm-muted staccato line, tinkering before shifting to double time and weaving it into the opening melody. By 14 minutes, the jam plunges into a darker, synth-laden space, with Cotter steering the refashioned groove into shadowy depths. The melody returns as a blissy yet thunderous psalmic exploration that segues to the composed close. |

OH | Incredible example of the November 2024 hey-hole jamming. Riffs get thrown around early by Rick, Peter, and Trevor while Jeff colours on guitar. Pivots from there into a patient peak build that picks up steam and explodes for an awesome finish. |

DC | Early clav funk shifts into an atmospheric zone with excellent chordal work from Jeff on guitar. Rick really pours on the gas toward the end as the explosive peak fades unfinished into "Whip It." |

Anthem, The |

DC | Emerges in the midst of the encore to finish the version from earlier in the show, then jams out into some grooving organ funk with Cotter going nuts on his kit. Rick leads confidently into a very different kind of shreddy peak that eventually builds into the finish of "Empress." Really cool and unique space. |
